America's Got Talent - 2009 (08/05/2009)

Results of last night's show between: Diva League, Thia Megia, The Platt Brothers, Arcardian Broad, Acrodunk, Grandma Lee, Mosaic, BreakSk8, Drew Thomas Magic, Manuella Horn, Kevin Skinner, and Lake Houston Dance. Only five acts will go through.

They proved, by another angle, that Acrodunk DID get the last shot in. Piers bet Sharon and David, and lost. LOL

Four are based on our votes, the judges pick the last one.

First up, Acrodunk and BreakSk8. Acrodunk.
Piers: Unlike most of [the other acts] there's a real sense of danger in what you do. Much more than the "average half-time show".

Sharon: It was pure magic. I've never seen a trick like that done anywhere. You really deserve to be here.

Next up. Kevin Skinner and Mosaic. (DAMN! Wanted BOTH of them to go through.)
The next act going into the semi-finals is Kevin Skinner.
David: You are what this show's about. Pure unadulturated talent. You're going to go all the way.

The act going into the semi-finals is Grandma Lee. (Cool. I am glad she made it through.)

Two acts left, one more place. Arcadian Broad and Thia Megia.
They came in fifth and sixth. Now the judges decide who stays and who goes.

Sharon: Both represent the youth of America. Arcadian.
David: This show is about talent and diversity. But whoever loses can move on. Arcadian.
