**

Virginia State University Gospel Chorale (Choir)
Quite a few in audience standing
Mel B: I have to say your energy is on point. You make me smile and your harmonies are spot on.
Howie: I have been healed. I could shake hands now. (No I can't.) It's so inspiring. You are the best in your genre.
Howard: The question is will America vote for a gospel group and put you into the semi-finals. You are at the top of your game.
Heidi: I agree, and you guys are so powerful.
[They did Like a Prayer quite well. I'm just not sure America will vote them through.]

Commercials - Segment #2

Red Panda (tossed dishes to head from foot on unicycle) had personal problems and couldn't be on the show.
She was replaced with Melody Cabaliero (young Contortionist)
Howie: I think what you do is unbelievable. You had less than a week to prepare. It looks to me very similar to what you did before. I think it's wow when I've seen it two times, three times, I'm not sure it's wow.
Howard: A singer does the same thing every time, just in song. You're a contortionist. What you do is going to be similar every time.
Heidi: I think what you do is incredible. It looks like you're made out of rubber. I don't know if you could hold on your own, but I think you'd be great in Vegas.
Mel B: You're 10 years old and performing in front of all these people. I didn't see your arms shake once. And I don't know how you can put your butt on your head. Isn't that painful? (No.)
[Howard (and technically, Howie) is right. Her act is going to be similar each time, as will almost everyone elses. It's just that with her, it's a little more obvious. And as Heidi said, I'm not sure she could perform a full hour and hold the crowd. As a PART of the show, she'd be great (like a circus), but as THE show? We'll see what America says.]

ommercials - Segment #3

Tomorrow, Tom Conner (Last year's runner-up comedian) and Train.

Dave Fenley (singer)
Audience: Standing O
Howie: I think it's great. Your sound reminds me of Michael Grimm. Soul and the performance was great.
Heidi: I think you did a really good job. You have a special quality in your voice.
Howard: We're having a very interesting night tonight. I think tonight's going to be very competative. You just took that song, brought it up to the next level. I think you did a beautiful job.
Mel B: I could listen to your voice all day long. One of my favorites.
[This guy has a very unique voice. He is not necessarily on key all the time, but it doesn't matter. He brings it up to the key. For others, that might not work. It works VERY WELL for him. He's great. Loved both selections and styles I've heard him do so far.]

Commercials - Segment #4

2Unique (Rapper & DJ - 10 and 11yos)
Heidi: Your big personality shines on stage, but I do have to ask the question, is this a Vegas act. I'm not sure.
Mel B: You're both adorable. I think you got a little lost on the stage. I'm not sure what you did tonight filled the audience like I know you can.
Howie: You got lost in this thing. You're incredibly talented as a DJ. I think you're talented, but I don't think you've  come to fruition, yet.
Howard: There's something about you two. You have talent. Young lady in the back, you were lost on stage with all the people. There's something about seeing just you two.
[The lead singer got a little lost at the beginning, but restarted when it was supposed to and I don't know that too many people in the world would have noticed. They did the songs well, the DJ scratching at the right places and emphizing the right parts. If they don't make it this year, I woudn't be surprised to see them go further next year.]

Commercials - Segment #5

Sam Johnson (Swey Pole - Filmed earlier)

Commercials - Segment #6

Mel B: I don't really know what to think. It was like a bungee jump.
Howie: It is a danger act. And it was cool. And you did surprise us. Gut feeling: I want to do that!
Howard: You know Sam, at the end we have to think wow that was fun. But when Nick goes I want to do that... Nick ruined it for you.
Heidi: Did you see what I saw? He was on an 80 foot pole, swinging back and forth, then the way he came down.
[I've seen this before in an outdoor circus. The three that said  it didn't look dangerous enough, I'd like to see them climb just 1/2-way up that sway pole. I want to see them get to the top, hook in and sway. And I want to see them come down the way he did, or even to bungee jump that distance.]

Duo Resonance (Acrobats)
Howard: Are we not having a great night or what? This is an act that reminds us of the Chritoph brothers, but you're the opposite. I'd love to see a matchup between you and the Christoph Brothers.
Heidi: Your love affair shines through the performance.
Mel B: That was very erotic, wasn't it? I loved it. You are both very very graceful in all you do.
Howie: It was like porn for the whole family. Howard, this is exactly what I was saying with the contortionist. She did different moves this time.
[What's great is SHE is the base - the strength - though he has his own strength moves. He balances on HER. And they are very stylish. They could really go through, if America votes correctly.]

Commercials - Segment #7

D'Angelo and Amanda (12 and 13yo Ballroom Dancers)
[NOTE: This is the older brother and his partner of Ruby and Jonas]
Standing O by everyone (incl judges)
Howie: Amazing. The intensity. They athleticism. I've never seen an  adult so... It's just beautiful and precise.
Mel B: Technically, you two are spot on. Well done.
Heidi: I loved it, too.
Howard: I love you guys. I'm very proud of you two.
[WOW! They don't  do this well on Dancing with the Stars. Of course, they only have a week or so on Dancing to perfect the dance. Even so, these kids could show them a thing or two. Passe Doble was the dance. Amazing.]

Commercials - Segment #8

Selina McKenzie Gordon (15yo Singer)
Heidi: I think you're gorgeous. I think you have a beautiful voice. Sometiems I couldn't hear you, off pitch a little...
Mel B: You're beautiful. I have to agree with Heidi that you were a little off.
Howie: I think there's commitment... You felt you were on. Well, I stand corrected.
Howard: You didn't sing to the best of your ability. Nerves got you tonight. You are better than that. I've seen you twice before, and you're better than that.
[She was pitchy in parts, but MOST of the song was fine, except I didn't recognize it at all. That doesn't mean it isn't popular, but... Either she got too quiet in parts, the music got too loud, or something was not right. Sorry Selina. If you don't make it this year, come back next, please. And keep it up!]

Commercials - Segment #9

John Wing (Comedian)
Howie and Audience - Standing O
Mel B: You are bloody funny. Very funny. Very current. Very now.
Howie: He needs the most from the audience. To elicit laughter every 10 seconds is hard. You did it.
Howard: Howie's right. Mel's right. You know how to take it to the edge. If America doesn't vote for you, they've done something awful.
Heidi: You had me really laughing. I love how dry you are. I loved the three word phrases at the end.
[He's very droll and dry. But he's FUNNY. Great job. He SHOULD go through.]

Commercials - Segment #10

Sprice (Rube Goldberg stuff)
Howie: I'm amazed with you on so many different levels. And then your effusive energy and excitement is contagious.
Howard: It's hard to argue with what you do. From a show business standpoint I think we need a little more from you. As fun as this is to watch, the precision is such that if one thing goes wrong it's over.
Heidi: I love your act. I've never seen anything like that before. I loved it. I would vote for you.
Mel B: I didn't really like it that much. I find it a bit boring to watch. I felt like I was watching paint dry a bit.
[Since it takes so long to set these up, I'm not sure that they would work for a big-name act.]

Ruby and Jonas (Ballroom Dancing)
NOTE: This is D'Angelo's younger sister]
Audience and Heidi: Standing O
Mel B: You two are very very cute. Your performance is on point. For me, I just found it a little over the top. Technically you were on point. I found it a bit too cheesy.
Heidi: You see? I love that about you. I feel you were made to be on the stage.
Howard: This was an interesting recovery for me. When it was just us (no crowd) you were a little flat. This was not as strong a routine as I've seen you do. You love this crowd, don't you?
Howie: I think you are as good a dancer as your brother. But I liked his dance better.
[I think the thing is that the song was like Austin Powers vs James Bond (her brother's). The dance was wonderful. They should both make it and compete at an even higher level.]

Commercials - Segment #11

Catapult Entertainment (Silhouette Dancers)
Standing O (Everyone, Incl judges)
Heidi: You guys are on a different level of imagination. Hands down, to me, this was the best act of the night.
Mel B: You took us on a journey. I didn't want it to end at all.
Howie: Special shout-out to the producers of AGT to put you at the end. There's no one who could follow you. It's amazing. I have no words.
Howard: It's hard to catch the emotional, and you did it. You are definitely going through.
[They do it very well. The stories are relatively obvious (meaning you're going to catch the references). They make many moves and shadows that you HAVE to wonder HOW they did it. They should easily get through tonight.]

That's it for tonight.

Cya tomorrow night for the results show. ;-)
