America's Got Talent (AGT) (2010) - June 8, 2010 - Auditions

Intro of the judges.

Nick comes out and tells everyone to be cool, that all the lights in the theater will go out... to focus on the stage.

Fighting Gravity - no dance experience, all college guys. Frat brothers.
Howie - Not since watching the Blue Man Group have I seen anything so unique and exciting.
Sharon - Timing is absolutely precise.
Yes, all round.
[This is the coolest act I've ever seen on AGT.]

Going to break, Howie says that their lives are going to change 180 degrees, now. I believe him.

Break / Segment #2

Gino and Tony Antonies - Singers (Gino is 72yo, son is much younger)
Song: "All By Myself" by Eric Carmen
Piers buzzed.
Sharon - You definitely sing with a lot of emotion.
Howie - The fact that you chose to do "All By Myself" as a duet...
Piers - No.
Sharon - Yes.
Howie - No.

Gentleman Joe Menchetti - Speed Eater
Tries to eat 5 pizzas in the time.

Lisa Falzanni - Singer from NJ
Buzzed by Sharon first, then Piers and Howie.
Piers - Worst things I've heard in my life.

Prince Poppycock - Kinda dressed like Marie Antoinette.
From the Barber of Seville - (missed name) - Figarro.
Not really operetic, but interesting, and pretty good.
Just a strange costume/makeup.
Standing Ovation by crowd and Sharon.
Sharon: You are magnificent. You are a true individual and a true artiste.
Piers: When someone walks on stage dressed like you, I expect them to take certain route, and instead it took a different route.
Howie: I loved it.

Break / Segment #4

The Ladies of the Peek-a-Boo Review
Sharon: Sexy, naughty
Howie: I liked how it ended better than how it began.
Yes, all round.

Jia-Yi He, Harmonica (4 of them)
Standing Ovation, crowd and judges.
Yes, all round.

The Danger Committee. Entertainers. Juggling knives and knife throwing.
Piers: Very dangerous.
Howie: Unique that we haven't seen before.
Yes, all round.

On Repeat - Singing/Rapping (one's a singer, one's a rapper)
New Radicals "You Get What You Give" in their own style.
Buzzed off. (Hardly recognizable.)
Howie: You say you know who you are as an artist. Who are you.
"I'm white and I rap." [Ooookay]

Antonio Restivo - Fire illusions
(Magician with flames)
Audience like him
Howie - This is exactly the type of thing that will work in Vegas.
Piers - It was dangerous, but also very polished, slick, and entertaining.
Yes, all round. Howie said he'd even buy a ticket to see him in Vegas.

Break - Segment #6

Raymond the Amish Comedian
Not funny
Buzzed off.

Female comedian
Not that funny.
Buzzed.

Guy who falls on floor.
Buzzed.

Doogie Horner - Stand up comedian.
Howie: Comedy is really really tough. You are really funny. You sound funny, you look funny... I think you are a telented man.
Howie and Sharon Yes.
Piers: No.
